A poetry music show was organised in Hanoi on October 4 to celebrate the 100th birthday anniversary of poet To Huu (October 4, 1920 – 2020). |
Co-organised by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education in coordination with Vietnam Television Station, the programme was broadcast live on channel VTV1 of the Vietnam Television Station. The event was attended by Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communications and Education Vo Van Thuong and Senior Lieutenant General, member of the Party Central Committee, and Deputy Defence Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh. Within the show, the great dedication and the contributions in the revolutionary career of revolutionary poet To Huu, an outstanding student of President Ho Chi Minh, were also featured through artworks. His poems praising the good qualities of the Vietnamese people, the indomitable spirit of Vietnam, which has been handed down by the people. Through rhymes and songs expressing the love of the homeland and the country, the program has depicted the nation’s history in the Ho Chi Minh era as well as the revolutionary career and great dedication of poet To Huu.
